If I’m ripped off who will get my money back?
If you experience financial loss due to online fraud, there are a number of options available to you.
First, make sure that you dont hand over any more money.
You should then contact the UK’s national fraud reporting centre, Action Fraud . If you’ve been scammed, ripped off or conned, you can report the fraud to them.
If you paid with a credit card, contact the card issuer to ask for an investigation.
If you paid using an online payment service, such as PayPal, check their website to see if you qualify for their fraud protection programs.
