Can an Amateur Radio call sign be transferred to me?

Yes. You can transfer an Amateur Radio call sign by submitting an application form.

When applying, you will also need to provide a letter of consent from the current* holder of the call sign agreeing to the transfer.

Applicants wishing to obtain a call sign through a transfer must already hold a licence of the same class.

*If the current holder is deceased, we will require a letter of consent from the administrator / executor for the estate or next of kin.
