Why can I not take a dispute with a mobile retailer to one of the ADR schemes?
The ADR schemes apply to public electronic communications providers. Retailers are not public electronic communications providers, as they provide equipment such as handsets, and therefore do not need to be members.
However, under the new ADR Regulations 2015, from 1st October 2015, mobile retailers (along with other businesses) will have to provide information about certified ADR providers to consumers.
