What can I do if I receive unwanted premium rate texts?
Whilst Ofcom has overall responsibility to make sure premium rate services (PRS) are regulated, PhonepayPlus carries out the day-to-day regulation of PRS.
If you are receiving PRS text messages which were not requested, you should contact your mobile provider and ask that they supply you with a contact name and number for the company that is sending these. If the messages have been received, your mobile provider will charge you for this.
Once you have the details, you should contact the company that has sent you these messages.
